Based in Hamlyn Heights Geelong, Western Heights College is committed to helping Year 7-12 students say "I can".
Our staff work hard to individualise student learning programs and set high expectations so students can pursue their expectations and be the best that they can be.
With stage one and two master rebuilds recently completed, our facilities are modern, contemporary and bright to create an energised learning environment.
Some of our tailored pathways include the Specialist Sporting Program (SSP) - the first of its kind in our region covering AFL, Basketball, Netball and for the first time in 2023, Soccer.
In 2023, the Accelerate program is also launching for year 7 students, which identifies and provides the opportunity for high-achieving students to advance in numeracy and literacy.
As educators, we have a crucial role: to empower, inform and mentor our students to make inspired choices, to find their own academic, vocational and personal pathways and, above all else, to be their best. We believe our school is uniquely equipped to meet challenges and make the most of opportunities. It’s as much about our mind-set, values and point-of-view as it is about our physical structures and grounds.
It is an incredibly exciting time to be a part of Western Heights College. We hope you will join us.
